Process of cyber bullying…

There could be many reason behind cyber bullying such as love, hatred, fun, revenge and affection. In most of the cases it has been found that affection is the major reason of cyberbullying specially among teenage. The culprit monitor the person activities or seeks other information through different means  and post objectionable content, morphed photographs, doctored videos and  obscene content about the person on public platform and also on the personal chat. which terrifies the victim. In some cases, where the victim is too young they did not report this fearing that it would increase the bullying. Cyberbullying may also be happened unknowingly (if it is not repeated). The impersonal nature of text messages, IMs, and emails make it very hard to detect the sender’s tone — one person’s joke could be another’s hurtful insult. Nevertheless, a repeated pattern of emails, texts, and online posts is rarely accidental.

With this active pacing technology one has to be cautious about one’s security and online safety and one should remember if at any point, you feel victim of something then don’t just wait to take any action or  to report it… because it’s your life  your peace and safety is all what matters and always remember these lines by Nicholas Thompson
“Privacy snafus are to social networks as violence is to football. The whole point of social networks is to share stuff about people that’s interesting, just as the whole point of football is to upend the guy with the ball. Every so often, someone gets paralyzed, which prompts us to add padding to the helmets or set new rules about tackling. Then we move on.”
